CalRTA is watching out for you. For more than 80 years, we’ve been the tireless watchdog for California’s retired educators. Our first priority is to protect and enhance the pensions of CalSTRS members, but we also provide a social network of fellow educators, exclusive discounts on insurance, travel, entertainment and opportunities to give back and get involved.

We derive our strength through dedicated volunteers, grassroots activism, and surprisingly low annual dues. You could spend the $45 annual membership fee on a dinner out, or you could enjoy the security of protecting your own long-term interests and the pride of protecting those of your fellow educators.
